as the season changes from freezing winter to spring the flowers have started to come up. So I picked a small yellow daffodil from my front yard and brought it in for a studio shoot. For this shoot I used off a off camera speed light triggered with a pocket wizard. I wanted the peddles to have depth so I set up the speed light as direct to have stark shadows. I also wanted the light to fall off so that the background would be a pure deep black and add contrast to water droplets I would add later. Once I felt like the light was right I added the water and it felt fitting to me since its been raining for days now.
